lukisan....kerenn!!

The flat, calm countryside by Väneren. You can listen to the silence outside Mariestad in Sweden. Börstorp Castle.

......my first oilpainting ever. Just cannont throw it away for some reason.

The number one problem when painting still leben: It´s difficult to keep the fruit fresh.

Søhetta, one of the highest peaks in Norway. I never get tired of the motive and have done it several times.

I think this is my oilpainting no. 2. It turned out to be a gift, and I´m proud of the postition it was given on the wall to the receiver.

Vill vestlandsnatur blir jeg aldri lei av her et parti med Folgefonna i det fjerne

There are not many other places in the world like Spitzbergen. Frightening, icecold, undfriendly, ruthless - but why do I always long back? Is it because Spitzbergen is beautiful?

A copy of Leonardos "John the Baptist". Each of his students had to copy it before entering his "class". He reminds me of Mona Lisa

Spitzbergen is always on my mind. This is perhaps the closest I will get to nonfigurative art...and the nature itself did it without fuzz and much better than I would manage.

Surrounded by Japanese product in my work for the last 40 years have marked my in many ways. I have to confess: There is beauty in the simpleness. Ikebana is true art.

Jaspanese flower decorations are simple, very stright, but the result is always stunning.

Ikebana, kunsten å lage en dekorajson med et minimum av blomster, jeg har bevisst malt alle detaljer skarpe i dekorasjonen og prøvd å skape dybde med bakgrunn som "forsvinner" i det fjerne. Kr. 3.500,-

Senja, the most exciting island in Norway. On the east side you can be everywhere...but on the west side a beautiful summer close to midnigt? Undescribable and not to recreated by an amateur painter.

One of the old, good guys, the right kind of music....an artist I never get tired of listening to, and the listening pleasure is even better performed through real stereo equipment. Owned by a good friend of mine.

Who else but a very clever flowerartist would put the top of a tree upside down in a decoration?

Vases in all shapes and colours. Ikebana accessories is big industry in Japan. One flower, one branch, one vase and some bamboo, and if you add a ton of creativity.....Art!

Hans Holbein, 1497 - 1543?, German painter, most konown from his portrait of Henry VII, format 1:1, (and he was huge). It was said that German art "died" when he emmigrated to England. His detailed work is more than impressive. This portrait of the tradesman Georg Gisze, is painted on a wood plate in London in 1532. Holbain died during the Great Plague, probably in 1543, and the whereabout of his grave is unknown.

A copy of Rembrandt´s "The Man with the Golden Helmet"...

Charles Sollier, the Lord of Morette, French diplomat in the court of Henry VIII, painted by Hans Holbain in the 1530´s

The Italian painter Caravaggio was a rebel in his own way. "The Last Supper" in a "new" setting. Just 2 diciples, and the standing man in the background is "the Inn keeper"

Willem C. Heda..THE Dutch painter regarding still leben. If you think this painting is detailed, please take a look at the original.

Don´t get too close.....I´m guarding my still not born babies
